How to enable call forwarding on your iPhone phone app

How to Enable Call Forwarding: For iOS Devices (iPhone or iPad)

  1. Open the iPhone Settings app (grey gear icon)

  2. Scroll to and tap Phone under Apps

  3. Select Call Forwarding, then tap Forward to

  4. Enter your Nagish number and save it by tapping the back arrow

  5. Close the settings

After call forwarding is set up:

  1. Open the Nagish app

  2. Tap Settings

  3. Tap Phone number

  4. Tap Verify my connection > Receive a 'Success' message

  5. Additionally, check if Reachable At shows both your personal number and the Nagish forwarding number. You should be all set 🥳

Troubleshooting Common Call Forwarding Issues

  1. Call forwarding generally requires an active voice plan and is not always included on prepaid or data-only Deaf or Hard of Hearing plans. If you want to enable this feature, please contact your mobile carrier and ask them to add "call forwarding" to your account. Most carriers don't charge extra for this feature, although some may. Confirm with your carrier.

  2. Confirm if call forwarding is already activated to another number. Disable it before setting up forwarding to Nagish.

  3. Verify that the Nagish app's settings show both your number and the forwarding destination.

  4. Ensure the setup steps were completed either in the app or within device settings.
