Not Seeing Captions on Your Calls: Possible Reasons and Solutions

Not Seeing Captions on Outgoing Calls:

  1. Make sure you use the Nagish app when placing a call

    Your calls will only be captioned if you use Nagish. (Instead of your native phone dialer).

    1. To use Nagish, press the blue and yellow Nagish app icon:

    2. Then head to your Nagish dialer or your contacts on the Nagish app to place the call. See here for how to place a call with Nagish.

  2. Move the Nagish app to your home screen

    1. We highly recommend placing the Nagish app on your home screen for easy access. See here for instructions on how to move Nagish to your home screen.

Not Seeing Captions on Incoming Calls:

Captions are available on incoming calls with your Nagish number or your existing phone number.

  1. Receive captions on incoming calls with your Nagish number:

    1. Calls to your Nagish number will automatically be captioned. No further action is needed, but you must give callers your Nagish number.

  2. Receive captions for incoming calls on your existing phone number:

    1. Enable incoming calls to use Nagish by activating call forwarding. See here for instructions on how to receive calls on your existing phone number with Nagish.

    2. Once incoming calls are enabled on Nagish, all your calls will automatically be captioned (If you're not seeing captions, make sure the Nagish app is not minimized.
