Hearing Aids & Cochlear Implants Bluetooth Pairing

How to Connect Hearing Aids or Cochlear Implants to your Android phone or tablet

  1. Turn on Bluetooth

    • Open Android Settings > Bluetooth → Toggle ON

  2. Put the hearing device into pairing mode

    • This usually means opening and closing the battery door or placing the device in and out of its charger.

  3. Pair in Bluetooth Settings

    • Open Android Settings > Connected Devices > Pair New Device (Tap your device when it appears)

  4. Confirm audio routing

    • Go to Android Settings > Accessibility > Hearing devices or Sound Amplification

    • Ensure streaming is enabled
