Troubleshooting Audio with Hearing Aids or Cochlear Implants on Your Phone

Check Bluetooth Connection (Phone settings)

  • Make sure Bluetooth is turned on and hearing devices are connected

  • Toggle Bluetooth off and back on to reset the connection

  • Restart your phone and hearing aids/cochlear implant to re-establish the connection

Check Audio Routing & Volume

  • Ensure the mute button is not enabled

  • Turn up the call volume using the volume buttons

  • Tap Audio during a call to switch between Loudspeaker and Bluetooth streaming

Re-pair Hearing Devices (Phone Settings or Manufacturer App)

Test Audio & Apps

  • Force close and reopen the app you’re using

  • Try playing audio from another app (e.g., Music, YouTube) to test Bluetooth streaming

  • Check the hearing aid or implant companion app for connection status or firmware updates

Try Another Device

  • Connect your hearing devices to a different phone or tablet to test the connection

Contact Support

  • If the issue persists, reach out to your audiologist, the device manufacturer, or our support team for further assistance

  • Open the App to settings > Tap 'Get Support'
